Rating cards according to quality.
In this informative article, we would like to introduce you to the way we evaluate the quality and condition of our cards when selling or buying them. In many ways, the assessment of the condition of the cards is highly subjective, and in order to avoid possible misunderstandings, we follow the criteria for assessing the condition of the cards listed below.
On our site, we will try to sell cards in NM condition, older cards with declining quality in LP condition.
When purchasing cards, we only look for NM cards, if you have older valuable cards that are no longer in 100% condition, please contact us through our communication channels!
NM - NEAR MINT /M, NM, NM-/
Mint condition cards are every collector's dream, they are in perfect condition with no defects on the surface, edges or edges. Not every card taken from a booster is Mint.
PLAYED (LP, MP, HP)
With several deficiencies, the cards fall into the played category. Here, according to the number of defects, we divide them into the following categories: LP (lightly played), MP (moderately played), HP (heavy played).
LP - LIGHT PLAYED
Cards in this condition may have slightly worn edges or corners, or minor scratches. There are no serious errors and there are less than 4 errors on the card.
MP - MODERATELY PLAYED
Cards in this condition have slight wear or imperfections visible to the naked eye. These cards have light edge wear, light corner wear, scratches, nicks or fading, light soiling, or any combination of these defects.
HEAVY PLAYED
Cards in this condition are heavily worn. Both surfaces and edges show signs of permanent damage caused by intensive use.
D - DAMAGED
Damaged cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could render the cards unusable in tournament play, even if they are in their packaging. Damaged cards have heavy edge wear, possible written parts, heavy corner wear, frequent scratches, folds, creases, or tears, or are destroyed by water.
